Seniors get pre-season started with early session

Club News, First Team

With 12 days until the club play their first ever match against Welsh League outfit AFC Porth, the players of Pontypridd FC were keen to get their pre-season started and bring their preparations forward one week.

The players were in good spirits as they met at the Maritime and looking forward to the challenge ahead. Last night’s informal session brought members of the playing squad and club management together to discuss the development of the club during the off-season, as well as allowing those in attendance to shake off a bit of rust before pre-season begins in full earnest next Thursday.

Next week’s training is an open session with potential new players welcome to join the existing players as the club looks to build the senior squad ahead of an exciting pre-season schedule and our first competitive season in the TERVL.

Below we’ve included some photos from last night’s session.
