Ahead of the start of pre-season Pontypridd Football Club are pleased to announce the structure of the club’s management committee. The eight-person committee brings together a variety of people with different backgrounds, experiences and skills and reflects our aim to be an inclusive football club with representation on the committee for all areas of the club.
The key roles consist of Nigel Wheeler as chairman, Ryan Wheeler as secretary and Liam Griffiths as treasurer. Other positions on the committee include Paul Dennis representing the senior coaching set-up and Daniel Perry will be the first team player’s rep; Gemma Harris will represent the under 13s. The remaining positions are taken by Jordan Forster, who will assist with the club’s media and marketing output, and Tony Walls, who will act as an independent person.
In terms of team management, Paul Dennis will manage the senior side during the 2018/19 campaign, Ryan Wheeler assisting with coaching. Ryan James is the club captain and Daniel Perry will act as vice-captain.
The under 13s will be coached by Ryan Wheeler, Nigel Wheeler, Graeme Jones and Bradley Harris; their captain is Mani Owen and Matthew Williams as vice-captain.
