On Saturday morning eight of our under 13s side completed a sponsored walk to the summit of Pen-Y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons (the highest point in south Wales) as part of their campaign to raise funds for this season.
The under 13s boys were also accompanied by 5 members of the committee, under 13s coaches Graeme Jones and Bradley Harris, four players from the senior team (captain Ryan James, Liam Griffiths, Gareth Kear & Dan Outing) and 12 parents/family members. It was a fantastic show of support for the Pontypridd FC youngsters and everybody had the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from the top of Pen-Y-Fan.
The under 13s boys that carried out the walk were: Evan Siewczyk, Matthew Williams, Mani & Ruben Owen, Kaden Harris, Oliver Bailyes, Corey Foggarty and Jack Jones. Congratulations to all for the achievement and making it a superb day for the club.
