After a decent start to the league campaign taking 4 points from two games, this weekend Pontypridd FC play their first competitive cup match when we welcome Carn Rovers to the Maritime Recreation Field in the first round of the South Wales FA Intermediate Cup.
Originally, Ponty were drawn to play Llanrumney Colts in this tie, but our opponent was changed to Carn Rovers when Llanrumney Colts dropped out of the Cardiff & District League.
Carn Rovers originate from the Garw Valley and play in the Bridgend & District League Division One. They play their home matches at The Rec in Blaengarw and currently sit 4th in their league with 3 wins from their 5 matches so far this season. On Saturday they will play in yellow and black.
