Kieron Cook has been awarded the first team player of the month for October. Kieron joined Pontypridd FC in the summer after a two-year lay-off with a recurring achilles injury and his quality was evident from the start. As he continues to work his way back to full fitness, Cooky’s influence has increased and his vision and quality on the ball have seen him become the side’s midfield general.
Speaking about the nomination, the Pontypridd FC coaches said:”In the games we’ve played in the last month we haven’t been very consistent but the one player that has stood out in every game is Cooky. He’s been out for a very long time with injury and now, as he is getting back into the swing of things, he is really starting to show his quality. We have no doubt this will continue throughout the rest of the season.”
