Dan Outing has been awarded the club’s first team player of the month for November. For the under 13s, there is a joint award for Corey Foggarty and Jack Jones.
November has been a difficult month for both sides with results and performances below expectations, but these players have been recognised for their excellent individuals performances in spite of the collective under-performance.
Centre back Dan Outing has been selected on the back of his man of the match showing away to Llantwit Fardre and another very good display in last weekend’s 4-3 in at Hopkinstown. Speaking about Dan, the coaches said:
“Dan has been patient in waiting for his chance to get in the first team. This month he has been given his chance and has taken it. It shows the whole team that there is real competition for places, no-one can sit back thinking their place is guaranteed.”
On under 13s players Corey and Jack, their coaches added:
“Corey is becoming an excellent goalkeeper and developing all the time. He has real potential for the future and we believe he can go a long way in the game.”
“Jack has grown as a player since joining. He is a very committed player, willing to play anywhere for the team and another showing real potential for the future.”
On behalf of everyone at the club, congratulations to all three players.
