There is no fixture for the senior team this weekend but there will be some football as the club take part in GTFM’s ‘Football Family Fun Day’ on Sunday. The event includes a six-a-side football tournament and Pontypridd will send a squad for the competition set to involve teams representing Cambrian & Clydach BGC Academy, Pontypridd Town, Abertillery Supporters Club, Ford Fanatics and GTFM’s own ‘All Star’ team.
The day is a fundraiser for GTFM, a community radio station based in Rhydyfelin which broadcasts across RCT on 107.9FM (as well as being available online and through a mobile app). We are delighted to be invited and involved on the day to support a fantastic community organisation. You can catch coverage of our first team matches during GTFM’s ‘Season Ticket’ show on Saturday afternoons.
The event takes place on Sunday 14th April 2019 at the Maritime Recreation Field in Pontypridd between 10am and 4pm. As well as the football there will also be family entertainment available.
