Both senior teams were knocked out of the Bernard Martin Cup following two heavy away defeats in the second round. The first team travelled to Pontlottyn to face Pickford Stars. Despite playing in a lower division, the hosts were superior on the day and ran out 3-0 winners. The second team travelled to division one leaders Ynysybwl, where they were beaten in a competitive league fixture three weeks before. On this occasion, though, the home side were far stronger and ran out 7-1 winners. Elis Hughes bagged the Ponty consolation goal.
