Daniel Perry’s second goal of the season earned Pontypridd a point from a tight contest with Cefn Hengoed played in excellent spirit at Ynysangharad Park.
Man of the match Perry converted from close range, after combining with Geraint Lewis, to cancel out the visitors goal earlier in the second-half.
The goal capped another colossal performance at the back by centre-half Perry, who led from the front in a much-improved team performance after last weekend’s abject cup defeat at Pickford Stars.
It was a welcome return to form in the first team’s first league fixture since September 25th, with just two cup matches in the nine weeks since. The well-earned point moves Pontypridd six points clear of the bottom two in the TERV Premier Division.
