Pontypridd FC Reserves fell to a home defeat to Rhydyfelin Reserves in match that took a heavy toll on the Ponty playing squad. Player-coach Josh Bradding went down under a challenge in the first half and had to be taken to hospital for assessment on an ankle injury. Then goalkeeper Michal Krawcow was injured and Rafael Gomes stepped in as a makeshift stopper.
Rhydyfelin broke the deadlock just before the hour mark and in an even contest, the final turning point was a red card for Ponty’s Karwan Jawad for two cautions. Two goals in the final five minutes gave Rhydyfelin Reserves a handsome looking win.
