Pontypridd Reserves fell to defeat away to Hopkinstown in a TERV D1 clash.
After losing the reverse fixture 6-1, the Ponty side were hoping to avenge that defeat and record back to back victories for the first time.
In a tight first half Tom Slater came closest for the visitors, drawing a fine save from the Hopkinstown custodian with his shot destined for the top corner.
However, it was the home side that eventually took the points through two second-half penalties.
On a positive note, Bili Pitman, at 16 years and 46 days old and a graduate from our u16s team, became our youngest player in senior football when he came on as a substitute in the second-half.
