Sion Pennell scored on his club debut to help Pontypridd Reserves earn a point away to Caerphilly Athletic Reserves in TERV Division One.
The sides drew in their previous league encounter at Ynysangharad Park before Christmas so the Ponty side travelled to Morgan Jones Park with the confidence to gain something. Pennell’s strike came after Tom Slater set him up in the second-half but like the home fixture, Ponty couldn’t hold on their lead but battled hard throughout the match to ensure they came away with something.
