A much-changed Pontypridd side were beaten away to TERV Premier leaders Church Village at Upper Boat Playing Fields.
Ponty ran Chruch Village close in the first league fixture at Ynysangharad Park last month, a 94th minute goal denying Ponty a win on that day. Manager Ryan Wheeler named starting XI with eight changes from the dreadful performance against Trecenydd last time out.
Ponty competed well in the opening stages but after Tyrone Phillips swept home the opener in the 24th minute, the leaders took control of the game. A headed brace from Aaron Illsley and a strike from Ryan Murunga gave Church Village a comfortable win.
