Both senior teams opening league fixtures have been postponed this weekend due to the forecast for “extreme heat”.
The Taff Ely Rhymney Valley League made an offer to all senior teams to postpone fixtures without penalty because of the hot weather. Pickford Stars (Premier Division) and Trallwn Workmen’s (Division One) took the League’s offer. Both our senior teams were prepared to play.
Our senior teams now turn their attention to Tuesday night when they hope to finally start their league campaigns.
