Pontypridd Reserves were beaten by ten-man Graig Reserves at Trehafod Park, despite a hat-trick from Liam Griffiths.
A slow start to the game from a new look Ponty side saw them 3-1 behind. A red card for the hosts for deliberate handball on the goal-line helped change momentum and Griffiths added two penalties to level the match.
Both sides had chances in the second-half but it was the Graig team that found the decisive breakthrough.
