Reserves fall to 4th defeat on the spin

Match Report, Second Team

Pontypridd Reserves were beaten by Talbot Green Reserves at Talbot Park, taking their league record this season to four games, four defeats.

The Reserves were competitive in their first three defeats of the season but this was a poor performance and Talbot cruised to victory.

The only positive was a first ever senior goal for Morgan-Lee Jenkins. At 16 years and 23 days old, Jenkins breaks Charlie Hobby’s four-day held record as the club’s youngest ever goalscorer in senior football.

Karwan Jawad became the first player in the club’s history to play a league fixture and get married on the same day. Congratulations to Karwan and his new wife.
