Pontypridd FC ended their TERV Premier Division campaign with back to back wins, a double from ever-present Aled Evans helping secure an away win at Rhydyfelin Non-Pol FC.
Captain Evans was the match winner at the Dog Track two days ago with a late strike to give Ponty a 2-1 win versus Rhydyfelin AFC and his double here took his season’s tally to six goals. Liam Ormson was also on the scoresheet for the second game in succession.
Despite a strong finish to the season with 10 points from the last 5 games helping Ponty secure a higher points total than last season, results elsewhere meant the Black Sheep will finish in the bottom two and face a potential relegation to division one, depending on the usual pyramid permutations.
