Pontypridd Reserves’ season started with a heavy defeat after being thoroughly outclassed by a very good Llantwit Fardre Reserves side at Tonteg Park in the Greyhound Cup Preliminary Round.
The Black Sheep’s second team were 2-0 down at half-time but were pulled apart in the second half, conceding a further seven goals. Dai Llewellyn’s first goal for the club was the only consolation for the Pontypridd team.
