Pontypridd AFC were defeated for the fourth time in four league games against a Bargoed side that maintained their 100% start to the season with this win in Pontypridd.
Ponty were hoping to gain their first points of the season against a team they beat home and away last season. Bargoed have made an impressive start to the campaign though, winning every league game without conceding a goal going into this fixture.
Three goals in 13 first-half minutes effectively set up this victory for the visitors. Liam Ormson did at least end Bargoed perfect defensive record but not before the Rhymney Valley side had added a fourth goal after half-time.
