Ashley Moyle came off the bench to score but it wasn’t enough to prevent another defeat for Pontypridd AFC.
Cascade were the visitors to Ynysangharad Park and, like the Black Sheep, had lost every league game before today so something had to give in this bottom of the table clash.
The visitors were the better side in the first half and were rewarded with a two-goal lead at half-time. Ponty fought back in the second half with an improved performance and Moyle’s double pulled them level (taking the forward’s tally this season to five goals in three league appearances).
However, Cascade restored their lead with 15 minutes to play and held out to claim their first points of the season and leave Ponty clear at the bottom.
