Pontypridd AFC’s awful early season cup form continued with a heavy loss away to Llanishen AFC in the Hugh James South Wales FA Senior Cup. This latest defeat follows two thrashings to exit both TERV league cups and the Black Sheep have now conceded 23 goals in the last 3 games.
Pontypridd AFC have never won a tie in this competition in three attempts and this was a new first team record defeat in cup competitions and the second time the first team have conceded double digits in a fixture.
