The youth team had to settle for a point in an entertaining and topsy turvy encounter with Heolgerrig Red Lions Community FC.
The Black Lambs fell behind to an early penalty and squandered plenty of chances before Harley Williams continued his fine form in front of goal this season. An defensive error, restored the home side’s lead and Ponty missed more chances before Levi Thomas levelled before half-time.
Thomas ran through after half-time and Ponty looked to set to take control of the game, but another error let the hosts back into the game and in a haphazard final half-hour both sides had opportunities to win the game.
