Pontypridd AFC Women started their South Wales Women’s League Division Two campaign with a home win over Talgarth Town.
In an entertaining encounter, the hosts struck first blood before Kate Hughes and Leah King turned the game around. Talgarth’s Maddy doubled her tally before Hughes completed her brace to give Ponty a half-time lead.
A second-half goal from Megan Voyle secured all three points for the Black Sheep.
