The youth team threw away a three-goal lead to lose at home to Aberdare Town, extending their winless run to four games.
Goals from Levi Thomas, Harley Williams and Spencer Banner put the Black Lambs 3-0 up after half an hour. However, despite the visitors fighting back to reduce the deficit, Ponty still led 3-2 with 14 minutes to play. An astonishing collapse in the final quarter of an hour saw Aberdare score three more times and despite an added time goal from Levi Thomas, the Ponty side had to face up to a third defeat in their last four fixtures.
