Brook Morgan’s brace was the difference at Pontypridd AFC Women beat Nantyglo Women to end a three-match winless run and keep them among the early pace-setters in the South Wales Women’s League division two.
In the absence of top scorer Kate Hughes, Morgan stepped up as the match-winner, scoring her 5th and 6th goals of the season, as the Black Sheep overcame a Nantyglo side that had set the early pace, winning their first four division two fixtures while scoring 31 goals in doing so.
This win keeps Ponty Women unbeaten after 3 fixtures in division two.
