Pontypridd AFC Reserves put an end to their 19-match losing streak and a 427 day wait for a competitive victory; doing so in style with a team record win away to Cilfynydd AFC Reserves.

It was the reserves’ first win since beating Graig Reserves on the same pitch in a Bernard Martin Cup match in January 2024 and a first league win since November 2023.

Early goals from youngsters Leo Wilson and Cameron Hughes gave their Black Sheep side a great start before Michael Clare added a third in the first-half. Teenage sensation Levi Thomas came off the bench to score a second-half brace, taking his senior goal tally this reason to 6 in 7 appearances.
