The reserve team’s 2024/25 season ended with defeat away to Nelson Cavaliers Reserves, a 15th defeat in 16 competitive fixtures this season.
Despite taking the lead through Levi Thomas’ sixth goal of the season, the reserves found themselves behind before half-time and down to ten-men after Dylan Porter’s red card for handball on the goal-line.
Second half goals from substitutes Michael Clare and Cameron Hughes ensured a competitive game, but Nelson scored twice more – despite a red card of their own – to take home all three points.
