Leah King struck four times to lead Pontypridd AFC Women to back to back wins for the first time this season, following up last week’s cup success away to Cardiff Wanderers against the same opponent in a league fixture at Taff Vale Park.
King’s clinical display took her season’s goal tally to 14 and earned the Black Sheep their second league win of the campaign. Hazel Boyd scored her first goal for the club in the win.
Two wins on the bounce provides the women with a timely confidence boost against next week’s Welsh Cup tie away to Welsh Premier side Pontypridd United.
