Pontypridd AFC Men got off to the worst possible start with a heavy defeat away to Llanbradach AFC in the TERV Premier.
That the fixture was moved to Bedwas 3G is no excuse, the Black Sheep simply didn’t start the game well enough: 1-0 down inside 30 seconds and 4-0 down inside 22 minutes. The team battled to salvage some pride but the damage done in the first quarter of the game meant there was no chance of rescuing this one.
Attention turns now to Saturday’s visit to Cascade YC who began their season with a 5-0 thrashing of league newcomers Penrhos FC.
