Pontypridd AFC men’s first team were humbled by Ynysybwl, one of the worst results and performances in the club’s short history and there have been plenty of wounds licked in that time.
Coached by former Pontypridd reserves manager Darren Cook and former Pontypridd men’s club captain Kieron Cook, Ynysybwl were simply better on the day, wanted it more and continue to be among the most improved teams in the league.
For Ponty, it’s back to the drawing board and a better performance will be demanded next week against Hopkinstown.
